Nightly Bond
For several nights,
my crying has existed.
For several nights,
I was insistent.
Insistent,
of my sadness.
Insistent,
of my madness.
But oh no.
I had to let go.
I had went through a phase,
that lasted several days.
Several nights.
Several plights.
Plights of feeling better.
Plights of feeling okay...
Then it all came down.
Tears hitting my night gown...
Now hear this,
It has all stopped.
For one day,
I have been happy.
For one day,
not a single sad thought has entered my mind.
Thank God...
I'm no longer in this nightly bind...
